Our youngest granddaughter Ashlyn was born almost 8 years ago. I flew up here to witness her birth, and on the drive back to Whidbey Island, where she started her life with her family, I recall seeing fields of beautiful tulips and daffodils. Up to now, we’ve never been up here again during that time of year, so Lynn and I decided to check out the Skagit County Tulip Festival.
We weren’t disappointed! What we saw was breathtaking. And, many of them aren’t in full bloom yet, due to the abnormally cold weather and rainy days. As the month goes on, it will be even more beautiful.
But we managed to capture some awesome photos.
