Had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! A big highlight was that our oldest granddaughter Sara was able to join Evan and Megyn to spend the holiday with us. We weren’t expecting her this year, as we knew she had traveled to New York with her mother (we weren’t even sure that she was back).
They arrived in their black SUV with tinted windows … Evan asked Lynn to “help him bring some stuff in the back seat” and out popped Sara! Surprise!

We had dinner at Hunan on Wednesday night (a tradition) and then went out to my sister Susan and her husband Steve’s home. The weather was perfect, and she set up tables in her garage. This new strategy worked great! We could all be together. Think she will do that from now on. The kids rode the golf cart and we “horsed around” with some neighbor’s horses after dinner. It really was a great day.

The rest of the weekend was spent with Evan, Megyn and Sara. We saw “The Hunger Games – The Mockingjay” and had dinner afterwards on Friday … they left Saturday morning. Time to decorate for Christmas!
